The
weekly Yard of the Week contest has, once again, proven to be a
success with many elders calling the office to join the fun. Our
first week we had 4 participants in which Mr. and Mrs. Frank Myrick
took the votes.
Our
second week also produced 4 participants in which the votes went to
Si Ironheart. Although not all entrants can be the winner, all the
yards photographed were very well maintained and deserving of the
contest. Week number three is here and we need participants. If
you want a chance at a gift card from Wallys, call the office at
766-1296 and get in on the contest. Due to the 4th of July Holiday,
the voting will take place on Thursday, July 3rd, in the lobby of
the Tribal Building. If you are out and about, stop by and vote
for your favorite yard. Good luck to all.
Bad habits are like
a good bed, easy to get into but hard to get out of.
Spring is wonderful. It
makes you feel young enough to do all the things you’re old enough
to know you can’t.
If you have an
up-coming event you would like to include in our newsletter, feel
free to call the office or stop by. Our doors are always open….Till
next time elders, take care and God bless you all!!
Volunteers are always needed and welcome!! If you
want to volunteer, call the office and we’ll contact you.
